Over the past few months we've been working with Fremantle on a show called Quizmania. Quizmania was originally a success in 2005, when a lovable bunch of presenters, production crew and stuffed animals became familiar friends to quizzers and insomniacs across the UK (just type Quizmania into Youtube and you'll see what we mean). Such was its success that local versions were produced in Australia, Poland, Columbia, France and Portugal. And now it's back but this time online which means you can now play interactive quizzes, chat straight to the studio, discuss the quiz with the audience and play with and against friends. Illumina Digital created an interactive site which offers viewers personal involvement in the series, either commenting on the programme's subject or investigating their own family history. Links to archives, libraries and articles are provided throughout the site to help viewers take their personal investigation even further. With over six million viewers tuning in weekly to watch the show on BBC1, the show's producer Wall to Wall worked with Illumina to deliver relevant video for the website. For the first time, visitors can comment on recent episodes and share their experiences of the often emotional topics explored in the show.Go to website
