Illumina facilities

When Illumina was founded in 1998 we converted a warehouse into a purpose-built studio for convergent media production. We now also have other production offices in adjacent buildings all linked to a single high-speed network, giving us the capacity to house up to 60 production staff.

Illumina Digital offers an inviting, creative and professional answer to all your production needs. Over the past ten years we have built a strong reputation for delivering high quality productions for both Broadcast and Multi Platform projects.

The TV studio offers an extremely versatile space for a range of needs including: discussion programmes, music videos, blue/black/white screens and drama location. This studio is available to hire for a day, week, month or series. (For more information on studio/rig please see studio schematics).

Our facilities include

• Broadcast TV studio (8m x 8m) - full lighting grid, 360 degree blue screen, Snell and Wilcox Digital Vision Mixer and DVE and 24 Channel audio
• Professional quality location kits (DVCAM, HDV, XDCAM HD)
• Professional lighting equipment including Kino Flo and Dedo lighting kits
• 2 x Avid Adrenaline HD edit suites. 3 x Avid Xpress Pro. Multiple deck formats and all aspect ratios supported.
• Sonic Scenarist DVD authoring
• Commentary Booth
• Multiformat tape dubbing facilities - DigiBeta, DVCAM, DVCPro, miniDV, Beta SP, DVD
• Compression Facilities
• Graphics and development work stations
